Politics can be fashionable

The Presidential Election seems to be quite the hot topic at the moment in the USA. So much so that whilst in Las Vegas I came across these badges in the fashionable clothing merchants, Urban Outfitters. With a little more digging I arrived at their Election Blog.

In my impartial opinion Obama seems to have evolved into a brand all in itself, and it is this brand that the fashionable patrons of Urban Outfitters, and many Americans and Celebrities are supporting. Or perhaps that's just me being cynical.

It got me wondering whether in the next General Election if the British public will see it as cool. Perhaps Pete Doherty could write a song showing his support for Gordon Brown and urging us to put a 'Vote in a box'. I had a go myself at making British Politics Fashionable.

Little known facts...

Just found this informative site about Sarah Palin. Similar to this site about the legend that is Chuck Norris. Incidentally Chuck Norris is the father of Sarah Palins youngest child.

Return of the Jedi

First news of the day... Sadly I am home after spending the past year working and traveling my way around Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Aisa.

I am desperately searching for a design job. Not only to pay off my HUGE credit card bill, but also as I am really excited to start designing again!

So if anyone is looking for a designer whose expertise in making hot beverages extends way past just using a kettle (Im also a trained Barista*), please contact me!!

* Someone who can operate an Espresso Machine - Nothing to do with the legal system.

Welcome to my brand new News Page / Place where I demonstrate my terrible use of the English language / Attempt to use a ridiculous amount of punctuation marks in a single post / Design Blog! 

Its my bid to use the Internet for more practical uses than "Adding" friends with who in reality are complete strangers and "Poking" old school mates. 

So please check my News section every once in a while. Even if its just to say "I told you so" when the frequency of me adding a new post becomes less regular than me actually reading something on my "Funwall"!
