Politics can be fashionable

The Presidential Election seems to be quite the hot topic at the moment in the USA. So much so that whilst in Las Vegas I came across these badges in the fashionable clothing merchants, Urban Outfitters. With a little more digging I arrived at their Election Blog.

In my impartial opinion Obama seems to have evolved into a brand all in itself, and it is this brand that the fashionable patrons of Urban Outfitters, and many Americans and Celebrities are supporting. Or perhaps that's just me being cynical.

It got me wondering whether in the next General Election if the British public will see it as cool. Perhaps Pete Doherty could write a song showing his support for Gordon Brown and urging us to put a 'Vote in a box'. I had a go myself at making British Politics Fashionable.

Little known facts...

Just found this informative site about Sarah Palin. Similar to this site about the legend that is Chuck Norris. Incidentally Chuck Norris is the father of Sarah Palins youngest child.
